I'm really getting pumped for TechEd next week. It's been awhile since I've been this excited (the last PDC to be exact), but the excitement is different this time because of my increased involvement in the .NET community. These last two years, especially the last 18 months or so, I've really focused on community efforts such as blogging, user group meetings, writing, and speaking. All of that has lead me down a path that I'm enjoying career-wise, but the most important part of it is all the people I've met during this time and the relationships/friendships that have been formed. That alone is quite rewarding and I'm really looking forward to meeting some people in person that I only know in the online world, such as DonXML, Darrell, and of course some of the other DM instructors.

James and I were chatting tonight (again, after midnight, as usual) and we were talking about our schedules for next week. We both have quite a packed week, so I thought I'd post mine here in case anyone was interested (probably not, but you never know). I'll be hanging out at various places during the week, most notably the INETA lounge and the DM booth (ad hoc), so stop by and say hello if you get a chance. And who knows, maybe I'll even get to see a session or two ;-)
