C# MVP Award

I got a nice little surprise yesterday in my email: I've been awarded the Microsoft MVP Award in C#. When I was first contacted about the nomination, I was a bit worried that I hadn't spent enough time in forums or newsgroups (as in, not much at all), but it's nice to see that Microsoft has went away from that being the only criteria for the award. It's clear there is additional emphasis on other things such as blogging, speaking, articles, books, and user group involvement. Plus, I imagine launching CodeKeep played small part.

So even though I don't do what I do for fame or fortune (obviously), it is nice to be recognized. Thanks a bunch Microsoft.

Welcome to the club!

(ironically that you show that logo, as the one who made that logo is since October 1st no longer an mvp...)
