CodeKeep and Spain

Tuesday, October 03 2006

A few months back I entered the CodeKeep add-in into the Microsoft Visual Studio Extensibility contest. Having almost completely forgotten about it since then, it was a genuine surprise for me to find out that it actually took 1st place in the add-ins category. There were two categories in the contest, add-ins and packages, and it was funny to find out that I actually know the person who won the packages category.

If you follow the link to the contest site you'll notice that 1st place gets some nice prizes, most notably a full-paid trip to Barcelona, Spain in November for TechEd Europe! Provided we can get someone to watch the kids for that week, my wife is going to come with me, which will be awesome. Barcelona is on our list-of-places-to-see-before-we-die, so it'll be sweet if we both get to go, especially since someone else is footing the bill.
